If you find yourself ready to pursue a job, internship, or another experience, there are a few steps you can take to secure an opportunity.

Recommended Steps

  1. Update & Tailor Your Resume: Make sure to update and tailor your resume and cover letter, and have them reviewed by a Career Coach or mentor.
  2. Search for Opportunities: Search for opportunities in Handshake, attend our career fairs, and check out our list of Stanford and off-campus websites. If you're an international students, check out Interstride. For experiential learning opportunities, check out XPhub.
  3. Prepare for Interviews: Prepare for interviews and practice via a mock interview with a Career Coach or check out our Big Interview platform.
  4. Network: Network with individuals working in the industry you’re interested in. For tips on how to network, check out our networking page.

Make a Coaching Appointment
